July 8 and 10 rainy days

While walking around in the neighborhood I noticed this pretty statue in a front yard :

On my way back home I came by a fence with this little Black Redsart on the other side :  

July 7th

After the rain : 

In the afternoon the sun came out and Ian and I went for a nice walk along the Murg dam 
saw a family of Storks and then I saw this dead tree thinking that would be a perfect place for 
big bird like a Vulture or a Eagle and then I looked again and saw a bird on it .... the Gray Heron

Today's outing goes into the Black Forrest up to the Mummelsee and Hornisgrinde

July 3rd

Ian and I spend the morning  at a fishing pond and the Rhine by Stollhofen 

Egyptian Goose family and some Coots were nice enough to come close for a few shots :

Also one Dragonfly came by at the pond,  a Black-tailed Skimmer:

Then at the Rhine a Great Cormorant came in for a landing, not easy to catch a flying bird with my new camera ... lots of practice will be required for excellent shots :

Of cause Butterflies and Damselflies on the way :

And at the end of the day the Moon was just nicely shining into the window so I had to try to caputre it with my new camera
