Day 2 in Bretten

Yesterday we arrived in Bretten did not do much just recuperated from the sleepless flight

today first in the morning Ian and I walked out to the fields, saw lots of birds, Flacon Finches and even a Goldammer ( Sparrow )
after lunch we visited Kloster Maulbronn and later drove to Matthias's place met Dennis and went out for pizza, I had a Radler beer and now I am having a headache I should know Alcohol gives me a headache.

July 8 and 10 rainy days

While walking around in the neighborhood I noticed this pretty statue in a front yard :

On my way back home I came by a fence with this little Black Redsart on the other side :  

July 7th

After the rain : 

In the afternoon the sun came out and Ian and I went for a nice walk along the Murg dam 
saw a family of Storks and then I saw this dead tree thinking that would be a perfect place for 
big bird like a Vulture or a Eagle and then I looked again and saw a bird on it .... the Gray Heron
